You want to make a narcissist afraid? You have to have the kind of qualities that a super empath has; the kind that makes every single narcissist afraid.

There are five things in total that only they know how to execute at the exact time they need to, for maximum impact. Narcissists in return will struggle to hide their fear, and believe me, that's a very satisfying sight to behold.

And here's the thing about super empaths, they don't announce themselves. They don't turn up with a plan or a speech. They just move, quietly, and the narcissist feels it before they see it.

Want to know more? You came to the right place!

The super empath the narcissist quietly fears

1 A super empath is…

…Someone you really don't want to mess with. I know I sound dramatic here, and super empaths are far from bad people, but their strength is something to behold, and I cannot be serious enough when I say just how strongly and quickly they can see through everybody.

These are the kinds of people who can walk into a room and know the exact vibe before they've even gotten both feet through the doorway. The narcissist can't shake them; they're never rattled. They're never lacking a composure that most would be envious of.

A narcissist never really wants to run into a super empath, as they're the kind of people who will not move a muscle to accommodate these entitled people. I love that about them, I truly do.

They read the room in seconds, clock the fake laugh, the too-tight smile, the person working way too hard to be liked. And then they just quietly step back.

2 Before a word is spoken, the narcissist is read top to bottom

So, you're the super empath. Let's get into your brave, bright world for a little while! You're walking into that room, and you've clocked the narcissist pretty quickly. You found them because you channelled the negative energy in the room, and traced it back to the narcissist.

Your gut intuition confirms this to be the case, and you watch them for a minute or two. Their charm seems fine enough to everyone else, but for you, you've already decoded them. The narcissist sees you, and makes a beeline. They want to talk. Hey! How are you doing?

It's so great to see you, I always love your energy. You're just so much fun to be around. Boom. Within moments of arriving, the narcissist has already found you and complimented you, throwing love-bombs all around you, leaving them scattered at your feet.

And you can almost hear the script running behind their eyes. "This one's easy. Say the energy line, she'll melt." Except you're already three moves ahead.

It works for everyone else, so why not you, right? Nope! Big fat, NO. You don't buy it. The narcissist wants you to, but you're done trying to be fooled. You're cleverer than that. A narcissist wants you to be flattered.

When you're in that state, you're somebody who is too distracted to notice what's really going on behind the scenes, but you were always more into that. Whatever they're trying to build with you as the super empath, is already rumbling before it's even gotten started.

3 Mirroring the narcissist: the ultimate gift

I love it when I see people execute with perfection the kind of thing that really makes a narcissist feel fearful! Mirroring is one of those things, and no narcissist can stand it, I promise you that.

You see, any super empath is so tuned into the behavior of a narcissist that they almost reflect it back to them in real time, and it can be a real shock to the system. A super empath doesn't even need to try!

Sometimes, a narcissist loves to act all cold and unbothered. Well, a super empath can do that, too, and they do it to the point where the narcissist doesn't really know how to respond. They think, "How come you're so carefree around me when you should be bothered?"

Because they will never be bothered by anyone so toxic. You're quiet, why aren't you texting so much? Oh, sorry. I've been in my own world doing my own thing. I thought you were going to give up that hobby? No.

You asked me to because you think it's a waste of time, but I don't. So it continues. Isn't it delightful? These are real power moves, and moves the narcissist can do nothing to stop.

I had a client tell me her ex went silent for three days after she stopped chasing him. When he finally called, he asked, "Why are you being so weird?"

The narcissist's tactics only work when the person receiving them acts accordingly and does what the narcissist hopes. A super empath is never going to be that person, no matter how hard they're pushed.

Why the narcissist fears the super empath

4 Limits are set without guilt, and without any talking

I love it when a narcissist tries to push the limits of a super empath. It's like watching a grown child be told off by someone higher up in authority, and it works every single time. I want to talk about your attitude with me lately.

I don't have an attitude, and I don't have the time to talk with you right now. I want you to come with me to this work party, no excuses. No, that won't work for me. Double ouch!

But fair play to the super empath, who knows what they want, and what they don't want. They don't make excuses, they don't feel the need to apologize all the time, and they don't even attach reasons to their limits. They simply are, and that's that.

I love how super empaths aren't worried about needing to be soft for the narcissist. They don't see any eggshells they need to walk on, they just say what they want to say, without being rude, and let the narcissist know what's happening.

They're in control, and I think it stands to reason that any narcissist is going to secretly fear that. They'll never admit it if they do. It's terrifying to a narcissist because they love to live in the kind of space that's made up of other people's guilt and shame.

They like to sit in it and feel at home being surrounded by such negativity to us, but positivity to them.

Take that away, and suddenly they're standing in a room with nothing to work with. No guilt to squeeze, no shame to poke at. Just a person calmly saying no.

5 Losing their cool? Forget it! But they still call it out

No super empath really feels the need to shout. In fact, they live life by the belief that it's what you say, not how you say it, that counts. There aren't tears or any dramatic kind of breakdown, just an honest word spoken like the true super empath they are.

They love to be clear and direct, and they believe that's the best way to be if you want to actually communicate effectively. You are being manipulative, and I am not going to sit here and take that. Perfect. Saying it how it is; no nonsense.

A narcissist is great with rage and tears. What they don't like is you being calm and sure of yourself. How can they possibly deal with that?

They can't argue with calm. There's nothing to grab onto, no reaction to feed off. The super empath just stands there, steady, and the narcissist looks unhinged next to that.

They can't, and that's the point.

6 The recovery of the super empath is fast, and it riles every narcissist

All super empaths love to recover fast, and they're so good at it, too! It does drive the narcissist mad, because all narcissists want people to suffer for a long time.

They want to see someone be completely eroded by their abuse, but a super empath is the complete opposite in character to that. A super empath will process what happens, deal with it, shake it off, and get on with things.

When you are laughing, being brilliant, thriving, the narcissist is hoping and waiting for you to fall apart.

They're checking your socials, waiting for the sad post, the cryptic quote, the miserable selfie. Instead they see you laughing at brunch with people who actually like you.

You don't need them. You moved on. The narcissist hates that.

7 Silence: The Weapon Narcissists Never See Coming

Narcissists rely on your reaction. Your yelling, your crying, your desperate need to explain yourself for the fiftieth time. That's their oxygen. Cut it off, and watch what happens.

The super empath figures this out earlier than most. Not because they're cold, but because they've finally understood that words are wasted on someone who was never listening.

So they go quiet. Not sulking quiet. Not passive aggressive quiet. Just… done.

No paragraph long text. No last minute plea. No "can we just talk about this properly?" The narcissist sends the bait, and it lands in an empty room.

And this is where they truly panic. They will double text. Then triple. Then comes the guilt trip, followed by the sudden flash of niceness, and if that fails, a bit of anger for good measure. Sound familiar?

Silence exposes them, because without your voice filling in the gaps, they're left standing there with only their own behaviour for company.

Turns out they don't like that view very much.

8 Their Warmth Doesn't Fit the Narcissist's Script

Narcissists write a script for every relationship, and they need you to play your role. The wounded one. The angry one. The one who eventually turns cold and gives up on people. That's what they know how to work with.

Then the super empath walks in with actual warmth, and the whole thing falls apart.

Because you don't harden. That's what throws them. You've been through what they put you through, and you still hug your friends, still cry at movies, still ask the barista how their day is going. The narcissist watches this and something inside them curdles.

They wanted proof that everyone becomes them eventually. That everyone is secretly selfish, cold, out for themselves. Your warmth is living evidence that they're wrong, and that hits somewhere deep.

So they'll try to mock it. Call you naive, soft, a pushover. Ignore that. Your warmth isn't weakness, it's the one thing they can't manufacture no matter how many masks they try on. And they know it.

No one is as empty as a narcissist who is full of themselves. Quote card.
